Ingredients
1 15 oz can of unseasoned black beans, WELL rinsed and drained
3 eggs for cake-like brownies, *Use 2 eggs for a heavier brownie
3 tablespoons canola oil, *I like to use 1/2 oil and 1/2 Chia gel in my baking
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 pinch salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips (optional)
Directions
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Lightly grease an 8x8 square baking dish. *Double the recipe for 9x13*
2.Combine the black beans, eggs, oil, cocoa powder, salt, vanilla extract, and sugar in a blender; blend until smooth; pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top of the mixture.
3.Bake in the preheated oven until the top is dry and the edges start to pull away from the sides of the pan, about 30 minutes. *Bake about 40+ minutes for the 9x13*

Hints & Tips shared by others: 1) If it tastes like beans you probably didn't rinse the beans enough. Rinse until the water runs clear. 2)Flourless baked products will have a different texture. Be prepared for that. 3) Use your blender for longer than you think necessary to create a smooth-pouring batter. 4) You can substitute a 1/2 cup applesauce for the oil if desired. 5) You can use 3/4 cup Egg Beaters in place of the eggs. 6) Add 1 tsp of Baking Powder for a fluffier brownie 7)Use Buttermilk instead of oil, 8) Add about 1/4 cup extra cocoa powder for a more chocolatey flavor 9) add 1/4 cup of coconut and they taste like an almond joy bar. 10)Dark red kidney beans will also work. 11) This recipe makes a super moist brownie with hidden fiber and protein. 12)Substitute Almond extract for the Vanilla.
